Where will your RV take you in 2014? With so many amazing regions both near and far it can be tough to narrow down your location list.  Finding a place that is fun for the whole family can be tough, so choosing a campsite that has it all is important.

Located about 30 miles east of Bend Oregon is the town of Prineville, home of the Prineville Reservoir State Park. This fifteen mile long, 300 thousand acre reservoir is created by the Bowman Dam, which stores water from the Ochoco mountain range and the Crooked River.

This state park features everything the outdoor adventurer could want. Within the park there is camping, fishing, hiking and picnicking spots with breathtaking viewpoints, an amphitheatre and is pet friendly.  For those who love water sports there is waterskiing, wakeboarding, wind surfing, paddle boarding kayaking and more.

This campground has a reputation for being clean with all the amenities you could want. Because of its popularity making a reservation early is a good idea. Also make sure to check back often as the online reservations are updated in real time!

For all your camping needs to make this trip a success, check out our camping store in Sandy, Oregon. Happy Camping!
