I sold my Holiday Rambler Vacation to Johnson Rv. The process was so easy that I was apprehensive. Bob Humphrey called me and talked through my RV from which he made me a reasonable offer which I accepted. He was professional and not pushy. He did everything to make me comfortable with the process including encouraging me to talk to my bank about understanding process and read reviews like this(they were all consistent). We saw our RV online and it seemed to have everything we wanted. When we called to make sure it was still there, Mo answered and said come on out. We were greeted at the door and then went for a test drive. We loved it. It is just perfect for 2 old people and their dog. They closed at 5, but we were given all the time we needed and never felt rushed to leave. We made our down payment, and arranged to pick it up in 2 weeks they were getting ready for the rv show and were setting it up.
When we did go pick it up we were amazed to see the welcome we got. There was our RV with a red carpet and and a sign welcoming us to our RV. We felt like movie stars. It was so exciting. They took our picture and gave us a sweet gift when we left. We were given a 4 hr. class by Garrett who showed us how to use every single thing in our RV. I never felt more special in my life. After 10 years of creating awesome memories with our RV from Beach Camping to the high Sierra's, we decided it was time to sell. My wife and I very newly retired and curious about owning an RV. We were impressed with the Johnson RV web site and decided to visit the Sandy Oregon store on our way to the Oregon Coast. We were welcomed with a big smile and introduced to Morris, or Mo as he likes to be called. Over the next few hours we were totally engaged in a learning process about RV design, selection, and even a test drive. Mo was not pushy. We live Fulltime in our RV and cannot say enough positive things about Johnson RV! In February of 2016, while staying in Texas, we saw an ad for Johnson RV in an RV magazine that stated they would pay cash for your RV. We were wanting to upgrade to a Diesel Pusher and contacted Johnson RV. Wally, Anthony and Bob were awesome all throughout that process and cared enough to call me to inquire about details of our subsequent DP purchase agreement. (It was for-sale-by-owner). A Johnson RV driver was flown to Texas to pick up our coach and he was very professional (can't remember his name!). Within 1 hour of his arrival and inspection of our coach, Johnson RV had wired the cash payment to our checking account and the deal was seamless and complete.
Just recently, in September, our travels in our new Diesel Pusher took us to the Portland Oregon area and low and behold we drove past Johnson RV in Sandy! We stopped in to personally thank the staff for their superlative customer service. On that day we spoke with Linda and Cory. It turns out that Cory had sold our previous coach the month before and remembered it well. Talk about going full circle! Now Cory is searching for a class B coach for my sister who is interested in the RV lifestyle. He showed us all around and was a pleasure to work with.

We came into Johnson RV over a year ago and Hugh was our salesman, but we did not purchase. We came in over a year later, and Hugh recognized us, and remembered exactly what trepidations we had. Never once did I feel pressure or forced into making decisions. Hugh was unbelievably patient, and took the time to really get to know what we wanted & needed for our camping lifestyle. We were dead set on a diesel, and was even excited at the option of us looking at an RV at there Oregon location. Never once did he put himself before the customer or the company. The finance manager James was equally impressive. Even with us getting our own financing through USAA, he helped us work with the Bank, and made countless phone calls that that went above and beyond. When James was away from the office, Hugh took time away from sales and helped us every time with faxing information over, setting up our satellite service and made sure we weren't overcharged. On the day of our delivery, Hugh came in on his day off, which was even his wedding anniversary. Johnson RV purchased my class A Travel Supreme for a price that was mutually agreed upon. I had been trying to sell my RV online without success. The problem was the difficulty in finding a lender for a 10 year old RV for the potential buyers. Dealing with Johnson RV was to my surprise a very pleasant experience! They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and confident in dealing with them. They actually exceeded my expectations. When it came time to have them pick up the RV they bought from me I was concerned how smooth the money transfer would be. Before I released my RV out of my possession I needed to be paid. As soon as the Johnson RV representative and I finished the transferring paperwork she said the funds were just wired to my bank give it about ten minutes. I checked my account on line and the funds had just arrived! To preface this, I do not like dealing with a dealership and normally would prefer a private party, but my experience at Johnson RV was excellent, with follow-up from Ron and Greg. The last week in December I responded to an ad I saw on RVTrader.com for a 2005 Hi Low Tow Lite which you had advertised. I called your dealership and spoke to Ron Weinard and a price was negotiated over the phone, this being done without any inspection of the unit by me relying on the pictures that had been posted with the ad and what Ron had to say about the unit.
I arrived in Sandy on Friday morning, January 10 for my 9:15am walk-through and I must say my experience with Johnson RV was far more than I expected and the purchase exceeded my expectations. The entire staff I dealt with, from the front desk to Ron, Greg Anderson, Ben Maddox and the parts and service department was outstanding, making my round trip drive of 2000 miles worth the time. I would be comfortable recommending Johnson RV to my friends, even though you are not in my neighborhood. - Garry

We purchased parts to connect/tether the trailer lights together. We worked with Sandy in the Parts Department.My partner and I were on our way back from buying a trailer and realized that our cord was too short for the trailer light connection. So we decided that we would stop at Johnson RV to see if they had the parts or way to connect it safely and correctly. After roaming through the isles of the parts department we were approached by a man, only to find his knowledge was not extensive enough to help us. He then summoned Sandy to where we were standing. She knew exactly what we were talking about and was quick to get this fixed as soon as possible! We then found out that Johnson RV did not carry the part to connect each end of the wires, so her being solution oriented, she suggested that we strip the wires and tether them to a part we found in the store that would work. She saved us $100 in labor by letting us borrow a pair of wire strippers and two hours waiting for it to be done! All in all, that was the best customer service we've had in awhile. Thank you for not letting us leave without our problem being resolved, and Sandy deserves a raise. - Emily
We received an offer from Mr. Wally Shearer, Buyer from Johnson RV for our 26A 2008 Melbourne, from our ad in RVTRADER.com. The offer was in line with our expectations, we accepted, exchanged the necessary paperwork and a driver was dispatched to fly to Prescott to inspect and accept our RV. This was accomplished within one day, our Title was exchanged for a Bank Certified Check and the driver was on his way back to Sandy Oregon. There were no hitches or surprises. Crystal spent several long days showing and re-showing us every motorhome out on the lot at Johnson that met our basic requirements. There were several very nice ones, but none "rang our bell". Finally, Crystal asked Bob Humphrey if there was anything else at Johnson that we could look at. Bob took us into the shop where a 2008 Gulf Stream Crescendo front end diesel was being prepped for the Portland RV Show. It was the only diesel they had that did not have the entrance door in front of the passenger seat. Within a few minutes after we first saw it I knew that Gulf Stream was the one for us. My assessment was confirmed after Crystal went with us on a test drive. We bought it and have been very happy with it ever since. Thanks Bob and Crystal for your patience and help. Last month I purchased a 2007 Roadtrek Popular 190 from Johnson RV, and am completely satisfied with the purchase. The condition of the vehicle was immaculate, just as John Moore (the sales rep) had described with pictures and words, with no surprises when I arrived to inspect it myself and complete the purchase. Dear Jessica, Its been a year since our accident with our Pleasureway RV. Its so nice to have everything back in good working condition and looking great. We want to thank you and your staff for all the work you did to accomplish this. There were many obstacles along the way, including the delay and frustration in getting parts from the Pleasureway factory in Canada. We appreciate your perseverance and the fact that you stood behind your work to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. We especially appreciated Toms effort last time in completing the final touches to the body work. Bringing our RV to Portland from Seattle was well worth the effort. Hello Rod, We are enjoying our Pleasure Way Plateau and learning lots about RV care! We have had several great trips including one to Banff this fall and several short camping trips in the Cascades. It is a great vehicle for wine tasting, too! At least once per trip folks stop and ask us about the vehicle and if they can peek inside. The are always amazed at the space and how nice it looks. On our Banff trip we averaged 24 mpg and even got 27 mpg on one tank! We have recommended Johnson to several people. Some friends wanted to rent before they buy and were disappointed to hear that Johnson is no longer renting. Happy Thanksgiving! - Kathy
To Whom It May Concern: A note to those involved in our recent purchase of a 2003 Southwind motorhome at Quartzsite, Arizona at the beginning of February 2012. So far so good.
